The only access to the island is by boat and so the only way to visit is by taking part in an organised excursion.  On this day out you will sail the calm waters and approach the island by sea, able to take in its full beauty.  The island is home to many flora and fauna and is a paradise for those who love nature.  The pristine beaches will appeal to your senses as the boat docks in waters shallow enough to wade ashore for you to enjoy the warm powdery sands of the stunning beaches.

Schedule and Important info

What To Bring – Pack suncream, sunglasses, and towels. Bring some cash for drinks, as drinks are extra. Wear regular clothes, and consider bringing swimwear to change into on the boat.

Departure Time – Boat departs between 09:30 – 10:00 in morning, hotel pick-ups are earlier. After booking we will let you know about your pick-up time.

Tour Program

Pick-up

Your day begins when you are picked up right in front of your hotel by a modern and comfortable minibus. Your driver will head onto the dual carriageway as you commence the costal drive towards Antalya and further on to the harbour at Adrasan.

Sailing & Swimming Breaks

It is then time to transfer onto the awaiting boat and take your places for the relaxing day ahead. As the boat sets sail you will leave behind the lush slopes of the mountains of Olympos, and you will head out onto the gleaming waters of the Mediterranean Sea.

The captain and crew will be on board to assist you with anything you need as you drift gracefully across the sea. As you approach the island of Suluada you will be given time to swim and enjoy all that the island has to offer.

Lunch

Lunch will be prepared and served to you on the lower deck and of course the bar will be open for you to indulge in a drink or two.

Lover’s Cave

After your barbecue lunch there will be some more time for you to let your food go down before the captain sets sail towards Lover’s Cave. Here you will find the water extremely cold as the fresh springs of the island flow into the sea at this point.

Return

It is then time for your return journey to Adrasan and your awaiting transfer vehicle. Your transfer driver will then take you back to Alanya and to your hotel where you will arrive in time for your evening meal feeling totally chilled out.

FAQ

Is it possible to get the boat from Alanya?

As you know it is much slower to travel by sea and so it is not possible to sail directly to and from Suluada in one day when departing from Alanya.  The transfer will be comfortable and straight forward, not to mention be totally worth it once you feast your eyes on the beautiful beaches and stunning scenery.

Are there toilets on board the boat?

Yes!  You will find clean toilets on board as well as a well-stocked bar and comfortable seating areas.

Will we see dolphins?

Whilst you can never guarantee the appearance of wild animals, it is common to catch sight of these majestic creatures as well as sea turtles and other marine life.

Is it possible to organise a private boat trip to the island?

How does this compare to other boat trips?
